Nowadays it’s fairly common to come across stories about climate change, the shifting ways we do business, the impact of social media, a growing mental health crisis, rapid developments in AI and much more. Headlines like these dominate the media and our social feeds. Yet, too often we focus on the negative aspects of these important topics, failing to recognise the people, groups and organisations that are a positive force in the world, those that are actually driving change and helping to solve the issues of today, in the hopes of securing a better tomorrow. It’s time we told those stories. Welcome to New Ways, I’m your host Russell Baker. This is a brand-new show by A Modern Remedy that explores solutions at the intersection of health, technology and sustainability. In a nutshell, New Ways is about discovering solutions, be it on a personal level, or something that scales beyond borders. Together we’ll learn about new perspectives, share knowledge and hopefully pick up a good habit or too. There’s a whole generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, creators and changemakers out there who are building those solutions, creating a ruckus and forging a path through the challenges we face.
