The podcast is meant to help you to improve your Italian language skills while actually learning something about different topics - I'll try to create interesting and compelling content every Tuesday. This comprehensible Italian podcast is based on Krashen's comprehensible input theory and on my experience learning 5 foreign languages. Basically, I'll be providing comprehensible input in Italian (hopefully also interesting input in Italian). If you don't understand everything in one shot, don't worry. You can play the episode over and over again till you'll get a better understanding of the content. On the ebsite simonepols.com I created a special program that gives you access to transcripts and a lot more. If I am speaking too fast or too slow you can set the speed accordingly with your favourite podcast player. Try to write down words that you don't know so that you can look them up later and/or repeat after me to train pronunciation.
