001 - Tyson E. Franklin Explains The Podiatry Legends Podcast

from Podiatry Legends Podcast · host Tyson E Franklin

This podcast aims to shed light on all the great things happening in our profession and who is doing them. I want to expose you to some of the fantastic career paths many podiatrists have taken, proving that you can do the same and even more. And along the way, we will have a few laughs. Most of my guests are podiatrists; however, I do have some guests that are not because I also want to broaden our thinking. If you're a student or recent graduate wondering what the podiatry profession has to offer long-term, there is a lot if you want to open your eyes and mind. If you've been in the podiatry profession for some time and feel tired, tuning in each week and listening to some of the fantastic stories may be the spark and motivation you need to pivot from your current path and take a different trajectory. Who is Tyson E Franklin? I graduated from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, in 1988 and over my 30-plus-year career, I have opened more than 20 successful podiatry businesses. I made many mistakes in my career, but I also learned from them. If you're not making mistakes, you're also not challenging yourself or trying anything new. Playing it safe is not the same as playing it smart. I sold my last podiatry business in 2016, and since then, I've dedicated myself to podiatry business coaching, podcasting, writing and speaking. If you want to learn more about me and what I do, please visit my website www.tysonfranklin.com Podiatry Scope Is Vast As a profession, I think podiatry offers so much scope, more so than most. Hopefully, you'll be inspired to do more after listening to a few of my legendary guests. They say the definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different result, so if you're not 100% happy with what you do every day, you can change it. If you have any questions about this podcast, please send me an email at [email protected] Also, if you know of any podiatrists doing amazing things in our profession, please have them email me. Facebook Page and Group If you're interested, I have a Facebook Page for the Podiatry Legends Podcast and a Facebook Group called the Podiatry Business Owners Club.
