from Let's Go Outside | Adventurous Moms, Hiking, Camping, Travelling with Kids, Parenting Outside · host Danika Vanderpyl

In this first episode of Let’s Go Outside, I dive into the vision behind this podcast—a space for real, encouraging conversations about the joys and challenges of outdoor adventures with kids. Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the hurdles of getting outside, like choosing the best hiking gear, figuring out how to adventure with toddlers, or planning a family camping trip? You’re not alone! Together, we’ll explore practical tips for outdoor parenting, share inspiring stories about hiking, camping, and travelling with kids, and build confidence to embrace family adventures. Join our supportive community of moms who love nature and discover how to make outdoor exploration a core part of your family’s everyday life. I'm Danika a mama in a small mountain town raising two young boys. I started taking my boys outside from when they were babies to prevent postpartum depression but it became a much bigger adventure. Now we still go outside every day, our favourite family activities are canoe camping, paddle boarding and travelling to new countries. This has become a lifestyle and a way we can connect with each other, a way to learn, and to be creative. If this resonates with you, please hang out here!
