001: Wish Upon A Star

Have you ever revisited a movie from your childhood and wondered, "Is this actually good, or is it just the nostalgia?" We have too! Every Friday, we rewatch, review, and dissect our favorite childhood movies and TV shows to see how they hold up decades later (because sometimes, things aren't quite the way you remember them).   In our inaugural episode, we dissect Wish Upon A Star, a Disney Channel Premiere Film that aired October 12, 1996. This film was directed by Blair Treu, written by Jessica Barondes, and starred Katherine Heigl and Danielle Harris. Join us as we discuss body-swapping, questionable parenting styles, diet culture, iconic outfits, and more!   [Please excuse the audio in this episode - we were just starting out!] Notable Mentions + References in This Episode:   "Hear" by Moonpools & Caterpillars  Mean Girls   Frasier Connect with us: Instagram: @in_hindsight_pod Twitter: @in_hindsightpod  Want us to dissect one of your favorite childhood movies?
