La Inquisición medieval se fundó en 1184 en la zona de Languedoc en el sur de Francia. Pero se exparció por todos lados. Sus víctimas eran seres humanos, e incluso animales, acusados de brujería, hombres lobo o de homosexualidad, por blasfemar, por practicar bestialismo, por herejía y lo que se les ocurría.
