002 GENESIS: Made For More.

The second sermon in a 12-week series on the book of Genesis.Text: Genesis 2:4-25Preacher: Jonathan TurtleDate: Sunday, June 7, 2026Summary: As we turn the page from Genesis 1 to Genesis 2 the scene changes. Here the camera zooms in. The language shifts. We’re not looking at galaxies, oceans, and stars. We’re looking at a garden. And our perception and understanding of God shifts, too. The God who majestically creates all things by his powerful word becomes the Lord God—the covenant God—who stoops down and forms a man from the dust of the earth.Check us out in-person on Sundays at 8:00am and 10:15am or online at www.emmanuelepiscopal.net.
