Setting intentions is HARD! Most of the time we start the week of planning to be productive with a "nothing is getting in the way" kind of attitude. Then, the week starts and BAM your week turns to distaster. In today's episode, I'm going to tell my process for setting myself up for a productive week. This is the same process I have coached clients through and has helped them stay on task. When I say setting intentions for your week, what is the first thing that pops up in your mind? An intention describes how you feel. It brings about an emotion. Goals are great but you have to answer the question WHY are these goals important to you. We will answer the question--how does setting intentions for your week help you live more intentionally? Because I believe these two things are connected.
