004: LIGHTS OUT by Nicholas Pine
from Super Chillers Hosted by Super Chillers
Bloody New Year, Daddy-Os. Super Chillers returns in 2022 to knock your lights out by reading Nicholas Pine's LIGHTS OUT (1993), the inaugural entry in the TERROR ACADEMY series. This one is full of squishings, crunchings, sizzlings, and outdated 1950s teen lingo. As we suffer sitting through prank-filled graduation ceremonies and the crowning of Miss Cream Cheese 1993, we ask: Who are The Potato Sisters? Do greaseballs have feelings? How precisely does one Bust a Burger? Is plagiarism worse than murder? Who quaffed Michael Myers's hair, and are they taking appointments? Katie and Jeffrey investigate all this and more with the aid of their trusty pocket computer, the Lockhart One Thousand, and a couple of microphones.
