#004: Michele Roesch on What It’s Really Like to be a Female Restaurateur

from Cultivate with Alex Canavan · host CNY Women's Network

Michele Roesch is a young, vibrant, and creative powerhouse of a businesswoman. She is the wonder of The Brasserie Bar and Bistro, Emerald Cocktail Kitchen, and 1331 Food Shoppe on Tipp Hill.  Not to mention, she is absolutely breaking barriers by opening up Syracuse’s first rooftop bar. While there were doubts, Emerald Cocktail Kitchen was created in 2021 with a tri-level cocktail lounge that offers hours d’oeuvres and bar bites. Each level is a totally different ambiance and I’m so excited she brought this concept to the Syracuse area.  During our chat, we touch on what it’s like to be a female restaurateur in Central New York, what that environment is like, and what the process of opening up a restaurant and cocktail lounge looks like.
