004 • Parenting As A Hennapreneur

Recently I had a humbling and insightful conversation with my dad about the impact of my business ownership on my children. You see, my children have always grown up seeing me running a henna business, and that tends to inspire them towards business ownership as well. After a conversation with my Middle Little (who is five years old) about business ownership, I spoke with my dad to share my excitement about her confidence and enthusiasm about owning a business. It was then that he gave me a solid and grounding reminder about how everything that I do as a business owner will inform her (and my other littles’) perceptions of business ownership.
