Cat Moore struggled with loneliness for over two and a half decades, and she's not alone. Loneliness, anxiety, and depression are a global crisis. With many years of studying Philosophy and the Human Condition at USC & the University of Edinburgh, Cat ultimately discovered authentic connection in a coffee shop, with complete strangers. Belonging... happens when we listen to someone's story, and share our own. That's right! Our wellbeing improves from authentic human connection, simply when two people having a real meaningful conversation. Cat, founded and served as the Director of Belonging at USC for 6 years, where she created and facilitated a course called CLICK! (Connect, Listen, Investigate, Care, Keep in touch) which is also offered for it's 3rd consecutive year at M.I.T. Yes, even Engineers are learning to build authentic human connection. Since leaving USC, Cat Moore is now the Founder and CEO of The Belonging Studio, where she helps individuals, business, educational institutions, and the military build places and spaces for people to connect. Not only is this transforming our mental health crisis, but it's also good for a more productive work environment.
