005: Fighting Stigma with Francesca Vavala

At just four days old, conjoined twins Francesca Vavala and her sister, Emily, were successfully separated in a groundbreaking operation that broke all kinds of records. The twins are the youngest in the world ever to be successfully separated and the first to be successfully separated at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.

In today's show, Francesca shares her amazing, and incredibly rare, experience as a conjoined twin; the physical and emotional challenges being born a conjoined twin presented; and how she conquered those challenges and is now an advocate for people with disabilities and a champion of cannabis.
