David is able to rest and think, and as he meditates on God's word and goodness he comes to believe that the Ark ought to be in a House and not just in a tent. The result is a word from the Lord including the prophecy of the Kingdom to Come on the throne of David, and a prayer of David summed up in the wonderful words, "Who am I?"
