from The Calvin Trieu Podcast · host Calvin Trieu
Today on the show, I chatted with Emily Work and unpacked her inspiring journey thus far. First, Emily opens up about her experiences with pivoting her life and returning to school to embark on a rigorous research-based graduate program as a graduate assistant (GA). During grad school, she opened up about navigating being a GA, competing in her first bodybuilding competition, and coming out to the world. Emily also gave insight into how those stressors affected her mentally and physically, and the lessons she wished she had known beforehand. Emily has earned her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a Clinical Research Coordinator at The University of Kansas Medical Center, and the Owner and Founder of Proud Nutrition Coaching, LLC.
