007 - Human Digital Pet Guy
from Battle City Broads Hosted by BattleCityBroads
s0e07 The Underhanded Digital Pet Rebellion Today we welcomed our first guest host, our friend Petunio, to discuss... a truly wild piece of Yugioh. The animators had the choice to do a typical Yugioh episode that was inspired by the Tamagotchi craze and instead they swerved hard into some very strange places! NOTES: - Our guest was @UnclePetunio whom you can also hear on the @RollOutPodcast ! - Manga panel of Jonouchi saying he & Yugi['s digital pets] should mate - The final boss of Kirby Star Stacker looks like this - Here is a nice writeup (not by me) of the recent Neopets drama that I referred to - We went for so long that we accidentally skipped doing any fun facts. Whoops! Here's a bonus one in the notes anyways: Tamagotchi is a portmanteau of "tamago" (Japanese for "egg") and "watch"! The wikipedia article for tamagotchi refers to them as being "a small egg-shaped computer," a very good phrase I think Our twitter is @battlecitybroad.
