007 - Pragmatism- Part 2

Dive into this intriguing collection of six essays by Bertrand Russell, originally published in 1910 and now revitalized for modern readers. These essays, drawn from various publications, capture Russells philosophical evolution during a crucial point in his career. Two pieces later reappear in his renowned 1917 work, Mysticism and Logic, and Other Essays, where he addresses pragmatism and its theories of truth. Russell also delves into the ethical aspects of philosophy, seeking to reconcile them with the innovative logical methods he would further develop in his 1914 publication, Our Knowledge of the External World as a Field for Scientific Method in Philosophy. This collection offers a fascinating glimpse into Russells thoughts just before the release of the seminal Principia Mathematica. - Summary by Landon D. C.
