007 - Technoleg Iaith

This is a panel discussion discussing language technology, recorded during our Digidol 24 conference (23/10/2024). The discussion is in Welsh, but there was also a live translator from Cymen in the room, so if you listen carefully you might be able to catch them whispering as everyone else talks! Failing that, we are in the process of uploading the subtitles to the YouTube video. Doedd dim ond lle i sefyll wrth i ni eistedd i lawr(!) i ddysgu am ymchwil yr Uned Technoleg Iaith gyda Stefano Ghazzali, prosiect Arfor i recordio a thrawsgrifio'n lleisiau gan Manon Cadwaladr o gwmni Cwmni Cyfieithu Cymen, a'r ddau brosiect buddugol ein Hac Iaith 2024 gan Neil Thomas ac Aled Parry. It was standing room only as we sat down(!) to learn about the research of the Language Technology Unit from Stefano Ghazzali , the Arfor project to record and transcribe our voices from Manon Cadwaladr at Cymen and the two language hackathon winning projects from Neil Thomas and Aled Parry .
