008. The Mass Effect Series

You have to love humanity...sometimes we can be the smartest, most powerful, most genuine, most amazing species of this beautiful earth; at the same time however, we can be the most dumbest, most destructive, vile and nastiest things to ever walk the planet. It really makes you think about how much as a collective we still have to grow. On top of all of that and what we stand for here in our own world we are looking for more elsewhere in the universe for other signs of life and planets to explore. What does this mean for us exactly? Who are we really in the grand scheme of things? This episode here on the Infinite Lives and Games podcast marks the first episode of Season 2 of the show! What better way to bring in the new season than with a little something different? Today we sit down with our splendid scholar of a guest Nick Eikelberry as we take a look at a series which really hones in on the questions we not only have about our own species but the questions we have about the possibilities that could be waiting out there for us out in the universe. The Mass Effect game series brings to the forefront questions about working together, the topic of good and evil, growth as a species, in depth dialogue and so much more!
