Called to Blessing 1 Peter 3:8-12 NKJV 8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; 9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. 11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 3 Major Areas Of Interaction: Society, Workplace, & Home One Mind 1 Cor. 2:16 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” Being of one mind “All of you” And my how they love Him and how they love one another. John 17:21, “that they may be one, just as you, Father, and are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Having compassion for one another Rom. 12:15 says, “Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.” 1 Cor. 12:26 “If one member suffers, all suffer together, if one member is honored, all rejoice together.” Love as brothers 1 John 3:14 “We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers.” Tenderhearted Be Courteous That you may inherit a blessing
