Journey with the Sager family in 1844 as they navigate the treacherous Oregon trail. With seven children in tow, their voyage is marred by mishaps and disease, resulting in the tragic loss of both their parents. The Sager orphans, however, persist, reaching the Whitman Mission in Walla Walla, Washington. But their trials dont end there. In 1847, a violent attack from the Cayuse tribe takes the lives of the Whitmans and others at the mission.
