01: Pluto in Capricorn: The Revolution of Power

from Histrology with Wendy Hornung · host Wendy Hornung

It's a fascinating time right now because we are in a cycle that correlates with the American Revolution. I'm not kidding. It's true. In 1776, when our forefathers broke away from England, they wrote the Declaration of Independence. It was because they were tired of the abuse of power. They did not like how they were being governed. There was no accountability towards the King. Of course it's much more complicated than that but that is the theme. The story astrologically, that is the subtext of that, whether you believe it's true or not, is that the planet Pluto, which is the planet of power. The use of power money was in the sign of Capricorn, which is the sign of government institutions, banking and systems. So those two together Pluto in Capricorn indicate that the government is supposed to be serving the people in a constructive way. And when things are not working the way they're supposed to be working. Pluto slowly erodes at them, hence a revolution. So let's fast forward to the present times the planet Pluto is again in the sign of Capricorn. So as we look at the current circumstances of government in power, there are definitely a lot of struggles going on. The actual system itself is being tested right now. So one of the things about looking at history and personal processes is that when cycles come back around, they don't look exactly the same. But it's taking the themes that existed earlier and allowing all of us to work at them in a different way, hopefully in a more positive way where we are evolving as a group. Now, how does this relate to people individually? Well, when we think about how the millennials are the most anxious group. What makes people feel anxious? When people don't feel like they're in control. The planet Pluto is about power which is about so in our current world. There are so many, many things going on that have to do with power, control, their safety in their own environments, guns, the accessibility how the judicial system works, how it doesn't work, the way we are taxed, the accountability for those things.   You can find out more at www.histrology.com.
