Do you feel busy all the time? Or when you’re not busy, you feel guilty so you FIND something to do? And then because you’re so busy, you feel guilty because you’re not actually spending time on (or with) the things that matter most? This was me right after I quit my job to become a fulltime entrepreneur. I felt the need to be working all the time… like, if I wasn’t working, then I wasn’t making money. But, then my kids would get home from school and I’d be so exhausted that the last thing I wanted to do was actually spend time with them – because I still needed to make dinner, clean the house, and finish what was left on my to-do list. It was an endless cycle of feeling busy, guilty, and overwhelmed – and if I didn’t have something to do, I made myself busy. It wasn’t until I figured out where my time was actually going that things started to click for me. All of a sudden, I had time again.I wasn’t opening my laptop up after the kids went to bed.I wasn’t trying to “disconnect” by scrolling my phone as soon as the kids got home.
