01: Why I Started This Podcast

Welcome to the first episode of "Our Reimagined Life." I'm Julie Siomacco, a middle-aged empty nester living in South Carolina with a passion for flowers. In this episode, I introduce myself and share the story behind starting this podcast. My journey began in 2009 with an online wreath-making business, Southern Charm Wreaths, which I grew from my kitchen table with the support of coaches, my husband, and a dedicated team. Reflecting on the early days, I realize I was driven by limiting beliefs and fears imposed by societal expectations and personal insecurities. This podcast was born from my desire to share the transformative journey I've experienced. Shifting my mindset and overcoming fears has allowed me to live a more meaningful and joyful life. I want to help others awaken their spirits by sharing stories, thoughts, and strategies that have helped me. The aim is to provide inspiration and guidance for those seeking happiness and self-worth.
