010 Relating Authentically

In this episode, Roy interviews his wife, MaryMargaret Biancalana. The two of them share the hilarious story about how they met and how each of them took the risk of being incredibly authentic with one another—from the very beginning. Additionally, they engage in a deep discussion about their "incompatibility" and how they handle their significant personality differences. Finally, Roy asks MaryMargaret to put on her "clinician's hat" and share how she helps her clients deal with sadness, anxiety and other difficult emotions. MaryMargaret Biancalana has a Master's in Social Work (LCSW) from Western Michigan University. She has worked as a therapist for almost 30 years, while raising two children.
