She stopped valuing compliments as she realized that this is based on one's personal opinions and the more you value compliments is the more power you give someone over you. 3. She stopped taking things so personal. Everyone has their own mental conditioning and most times it isn't even about you. 4. She was kind despite as everyone is struggling with their own personal battle and it's best to forgive even if you are right. 5. She learned to always do her best regardless.
