014 | Toronto March for Life Recap | Abortion & Pro-Life Apologetics and interview w/Ryan Mans of ARPA Canada

I had the opportunity recently to go support the Toronto March for Life together with some guys from my church small group. The Toronto March for Life is a Pro-Life annual rally that helps to raise awareness about abortion and advocate for the lives of unborn children. It happened the day after the National March for Life in Ottawa where large crowds marched in support of life against abortion, assisted suicide and euthanasia. At the event, there were several speakers who gave moving testimonies of choosing life over abortion as well as Pro-Life messages explaining the horrors of abortion. I was happy to have a short interview with Ryan Mans who is the Ontario Manager of ARPA Canada, a grassroots Christian political advocacy organization that seeks to educate, equip, and encourage Reformed Christians to political action, and to bring a biblical perspective to our civil authorities. ARPA is also associated with WeNeedALaw.ca who seeks to mobilize Canadians and persuade our political leaders to pass laws that protect children before birth. Canada is the only democracy in the world to have zero legal protection for pre-born children. Every other country recognizes the humanity of pre-born children at some point, and has found a way to protect them. This episode gets into some of the apologetic arguments for the Pro-Life cause from a distinctly Christian worldview. We must argue consistently as Christians that abortion is the murder of an innocent child in the womb, created in the image of God, worthy of honour and protection.
