015: Ellie Rebugio: When life doesn't make sense: Healing from the sudden murder of her father

In this episode, I have a conversation with my friend Ellie. She opens up in the most candid way as she talks about the day she found out her dad was murdered. She also explains the aftermath that came with it, including having to raise her younger brother and setting boundaries with other loved ones. Later in the conversation, she starts to talk about what she says to people who have lost a loved one, and honestly, I couldn't control my tears. You see, when I had this conversation with Ellie, I had recently lost my grandma a couple weeks prior. She was someone very near and dear to my heart.
