015: I Thought I Had to Earn Rest

This episode is TENDER AF. I almost didn't release it, to be totally honest with you.We recorded it back in October. Right after I'd gotten home from France. Right before my birthday. Right before going to my favorite music festival.And I caught myself saying, "I don't feel like I deserve to be celebrated." "I don't deserve to go on this trip." "I don't deserve rest."WHAT???!! That's not how we roll around here...But it's one thing to talk about this with all of you. It's a whole 'nother thing when you catch yourself saying it. When you really FEEL it on a deep level, you know?I was behind on a lot of things, feeling wayyyy in over my head, and didn't know how to fix it. This conversation helped me remember the value I talk about NON STOP with all of you - you do not need to earn your rest, you are worthy of being loved and celebrated exactly as you are, even if you want some things to change.If you listen -- I'd LOVE to hear from you.
