On January 7, 1972, Nancy was found murdered inside her apartment at Coral Terrace on Aloha Drive. For more than 50 years, her family waited for the answer to one question: who killed Nancy? This episode follows Nancy’s life before Hawaii, the first confusing days of the investigation, the early focus on the two cutlery salesmen, the locked-apartment access questions, the bloody towel evidence, the decades her family kept pushing, and the DNA breakthrough that finally led police to former Nevada deputy attorney general Tudor Chirila. Chirila was indicted and brought back to Honolulu, but he died in custody before trial.
