We have just entered a new year and goals are on many people's minds. It's one thing to set goals, but it's a whole other thing to set things into motion to achieve those goals.

When it comes to writing down your goals, I'm sure you are very familiar with the acronym, S.M.A.R.T.

Specific

Measurable

Attainable

Realistic

Time-sensitive

Once your goals are written down, then what?

If you are one to have goals written down only to be disappointed to not reaching them, then you know that there's something missing.

The missing piece?

Your strategic action plan.

When it comes to achieving your goals, you must take action and implement a plan. Many people set the goals and stop there. They don't know where to begin to systematically take action and see results.

In this week's episode, I'm delighted to be talking with Sales Coach, David Sims. I met David a few years ago in our networking group and have had the pleasure of working with him on several projects. I've attended several of his workshops and have truly gotten a lot out of each one. In fact, every time we have the opportunity to get together and visit, I learn something new.

I'm excited to be attending David's upcoming workshop titled "How Do You Make Your 2018 Your Best Year Yet?" It focuses on strategic planning to achieve our goals.

In today's episode, David and I discuss what it takes to get started on the right foot with achieving goals set for the year. We had a great discussion with a ton of value. Enjoy!
