0156 - DMC( Disco Mix Club)
from revelry: Podcast Hosted by revelry
Does anybody actually care if you're a good DJ anymore? No smart business idea. No ROI. No algorithm play. Just two DJs who believe the craft still matters, and they're willing to lose money proving it. On this episode, we're joined by Koflow, widely regarded as the leading authority on hip hop DJing in Singapore and owner of Kossa, and DJ Rough, co-organizer of DMC Singapore's revival after years of hiatus. Both have spent decades on the turntables and are now building the competition back up from scratch. This is the road to DMC Singapore. DMC Singapore key dates: open category warmup on 28 June, Singapore finals on 6 September, world finals 12 to 15 November. Follow @dmcsingapore for updates.
