I feel so strongly about Instagram as a platform that I firmly believe every ministry NEEDS to be on there. In fact, if a church is just starting out on social, I would advise them to start on IG because if his many features it has and how many unique opportunities you have to engage people for the sake of the gospel. The following are the steps I would advise a church to take to get started and gain traction one Instagram if I were consulting with them. 1. Getting team together to pray for unity, execution on vision 2. Draft a content calendar 3. Purchase a wireless lavalier mic that connects to a smartphone 4. Record 4 weeks of messages; watch to pull out as many 60-sec clips as possible for posting 5. Pull out written quotes from those clips for quotable images 6. Start collecting as many testimonials as possible; people talking about (a) takeaways from the message, (b) experience with the ministry in general, (c) Christian experience in general 7. Get everyone on the team who is
