#016 - The Bite of Bitterness

The Bite of Bitterness. Bitterness is the seed of the enemy that shackles us to bondage, anger and jealousy. Bitterness is the state of being bound by or subject to some external power or control. Bitterness gives birth to bondage allowing the enemy and others external control. Anger, the devil often attacks our hearts - the seat of our emotions. Jealousy, are you measuring you worth against what someone else has. Forgiveness, kills bitterness, exposes others to Christ, produces healing, brings peace and restores. Love, is patient, love one another, love the Lord, love your enemies, love of God. Forgiveness is like a chisel and love is like a hammer and when you’re in the hand of God, He uses these tools to break the shackles of bitterness and bondage so that were free to glorify Him.
