017: Lindsey Stacy: Freedom is Not Free

from Future Generations Podcast with Dr. Stanton Hom

In this episode, Lindsey Stacy reminds us of the sacrifice that many military families make on a daily basis. She tells the story of her husband, Senior Chief Petty Officer Kenton Stacy, and the impact of being critically wounded in action on his 4th combat deployment. Lindsey's openness, vulnerability and authenticity honors her husband's sacrifice and she states very clearly that living our lives to the fullest is the best way for all of us to honor him.  Lindsey Stacy is the wife of a wounded warrior and mother of four. She is the primary caregiver to EOD Senior Chief Petty Officer Kenton Stacy. They are proud parents of four children: Logan (12), Mason (8), Annabelle (6), and Sadie (3).  Kenton was serving in Syria on his fourth combat deployment and was weeks away from coming home when he was severely injured by an improvised explosive device (IED). That life altering moment on November 9, 2017 changed the course of their entire family tree both up and down forever.  Lindsey continues to advocate for Kenton and their beautiful family as they navigate the obstacles of life, especially the best medical treatments and care. They are grateful for all the support they have received from the public and several organizations who have come to their support.  Kenton's injury is the most definitive sign for all of us that the freedoms we enjoy are not in any way free.   Stay Connected with Lindsey Stacy:   Instagram: @stacystrongeodproject Facebook: EODC Kenton Stacy Please donate to the EOD Warrior Foundation Please donate to the Stacy Family here _______________________________________________________ Stay Connected with the Future Generations Podcast:  Instagram: @futuregenpodcast, @thefuturegensd  and @drstantonhom  Facebook: Future Generations Podcast and Future Generations | Clinic of Chiropractic  Website: Future Generations | Clinic of Chiropractic    Remember to Rate, Review and Subscribe on iTunes and Follow us on Spotify!
