Glen Grant and Hawaii’s Most Famous Haunted House Legend: The Kaimuki Kasha House | Revisited: 017

The Kaimuki Kasha House is one of the most famous Hawaii ghost stories ever told—a haunted Honolulu legend tied to Glen Grant, old police reports, disputed addresses, and decades of local folklore. In this episode, we follow the reported incidents, the later retellings, and the storyteller who understood that in Hawaii, a ghost story is never just about fear. It is about place, memory, belief, and the things a neighborhood refuses to forget. This episode stays with the record where the record holds, and says so when it doesn’t. We trace the 1942 Kaimuki haunting report, the later 1972 account, the rise of the Kaimuki Kasha House legend, and Glen Grant’s role in preserving Hawaii ghost stories with care instead of turning them into cheap spectacle. If this episode means something to you, follow the show on Spotify and share it with someone who still believes old stories deserve respect.
