On today’s episode of Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy Pondcasts, we head to Battle Creek, Michigan, to visit with Chris Ostrander of Living Water Landscape Service. Chris began his career in the green industry back in 1997 when his dad hired him out to the landscaper that came to repair the lawn Chris damaged while installing a backyard pond for his mom. That “oops” turned into a WIN for Chris who ended up working for the landscaper full time. In 1999, Chris took a day off to attend an Aquascape Build-a-Pond Day event where he experienced the Aquascape 20 Steps, 20 Products approach to building ecosystem ponds. By 2007, Chris ventured out on his own to establish Living Water Landscape Service, which is an award-winning landscape and water feature installation that specializes in custom water feature installation and the patios, pathways and gardens that surround them.
