Check, check, check this. This is Marty's Minute Audio Podcast. Whoa. I might be showing my age, but one of my favorite bands is Fleetwood Mac.
They've had some amazing hits over the years, and my wife and I even had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet them in person after a concert. When I talk to people about my Fleetwood Mac experience, they always ask me what my favorite song is. Now, it's hard to say which is my favorite, but there is one song that stands out in my mind as a song of hope about pushing forward and not letting the past define you. The song, Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow.
Can you hear it? Now, the lyrics go like this. If you wake up and don't want to smile, if it takes just a little while, open your eyes and look at the day, you'll see things in a different way. Don't stop thinking about tomorrow.
Don't stop. It'll soon be here. It'll be better than before yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone. Why not think about times to come and not about the things that you've done?
If your life was bad to you, just think what tomorrow will do. Don't stop thinking about tomorrow. Don't stop. It'll soon be here.
It'll be better than before yesterday's gone. And as you look at the future and all the possibilities, remember, it'll soon be here and yesterday is gone. And I just can't wait to see what's next. Until next time, I'm Marty.
Thank you. Thank you.
