She served nearly 30 years in the Air Force as a nurse and public affairs officer and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Kathy is the author of: “Beyond ‘Thank You For Your Service,’ The Veteran Champion Handbook for civilians.” In this book, she describes how easy it is for employers and other citizens to become Veteran Champions.
