02/18/18 - Praying As A Community On Mission (Matthew 6:5-15)

Jimmy Davis - This past Sunday we resumed our sermon series, "A Praying Church," taking a close look at how Jesus taught his disciples to pray. It is important to note that there is a context to this prayer -- Jesus was sending his first followers on a mission to advance his kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. It is the same for us today. Through this prayer, Jesus tells us that we are a part of a relationship that is engaged in a revolution, and we are partnering with the community of the Trinity to carry out our Father's family business.
