Molly Wooton spoke about International Guide Dog Day and her guide dog Jarvis, from Guide Dogs SA & NT. Bethany Hackshall, Executive Director for the Gidget Foundation, had news on the First Gidget House to open in South Australia, to support parents with perinatal mental health challenges. David Mitchell, health commentator, shared his recent health challenges and how “My Home Hospital” has helped David recover quicker; better and at the same time taking pressure of the hospital health system. Belinda Hellyer, from Brewed By Belinda, had some suggestions for tea rituals that help relaxation; stress reduction and self-care. Sam Paior, from The Growing Space, leading Advocate, has dug deeper into the proposed NDIS cuts announcements. Emma Thomas, Regional Manager for Live Big, lets us know about telehealth - often the only way to access disability and mental health support, especially for those living in regional areas, or finding transport challenging.
