I'm delighted to introduce today's guest, Dr. Sean Gleeson, MD, MBA, President of Partners for Kids (PFK) at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Founded in 1994, PFK is one of the oldest, most unique Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) in the country, serving over 330,000 children throughout central and southeastern Ohio. PFK is fully capitated and acts as a bridge to five Medicaid health plans in the state as well as 1,000 physicians to deliver high-value, coordinated care to some of the most vulnerable children's in Ohio. Nationwide Children's Hospital is ranked on U.S. News & World Report's 2016-2017 Best Children's Hospital Honor Roll, an honor given to only 11 pediatric centers in the country.
