Welcome back to another episode of Understanding Disordered Eating. Today, we're sitting down with Meredith Glidden who is a licensed creative arts therapist and psychoanalyst. She is a psychotherapist with a private practice in New York City, and works with adolescents and adults with a specialty in substance use. She has presented on intersections of psychoanalysis and creative arts therapy and she's currently a board member of the Institute for Expressive Analysis where she also serves as their Director of Admissions.    Meredith is going to walk us through the meaning and impact of a psychoanalysis and let us in on the definitions of the important terminologies in relation to the psychotherapy.
