022 How Being Kinder to Yourself can Transform Your Life

from Busy Woman's Guide to Wellbeing

Do you have a habit of saying mean things to yourself? Telling yourself you are too fat, or you’re not a good enough mum, or that you’re rubbish at your job? For most of us it is almost a daily habit that we’re not even aware of. And we would never say those things to somebody else! Being hard on ourselves leads to our struggling with confidence, feeling bad about ourselves and doubting our ability to do the things we want to do.  In this episode we will explore this habit and how by being kinder to yourself you can transform your entire life. What You Will Learn In This Episode: - How to become aware of the situation you are in right now so you can be honest with yourself - How to catch your thoughts - How to learn to ask yourself if something is true for you - How to create a virtuous circle so you can feel worthy and be the confident and happy person that you'd love to be We need to give ourselves a little more time and spaciousness in life, and learn not to criticise ourselves for doing that. If we feel deep down that we are not good enough, we're less likely to invest time in doing nice things for ourselves. It's not an easy road, but it is worth every step because you will feel better about everything, life will be easier, and as a result you will give a better version of yourself to your family and friends.
