022. My 94 Year Old Grandma Shares Her Food Freedom Wisdom

from Embody Food Freedom · host Jenn Baswick

This episode is so near and dear to my heart and just filled with so much cuteness because our guest is… my 94-year-old grandma! She is the sweetest lady I know. Why on the Intuitively You podcast you ask? To share her food freedom wisdom with you. My grandma has never dieted in her life, she’s always allowed all foods (all the fun foods included!) into her life, and she definitely embodies a healthy relationship with food, her body + movement. I’m SO excited for you to tune into this episode, and get all the warm and fuzzy grandma vibes sent your way through your earbuds! We chat about: How she’s a very healthy 94-year-old lady Her love for food + cooking Growing up on a farm and how that impacted her (and my) relationship with food How she allows an abundance of both fun foods (desserts, ice cream, chips, etc.) and nutrient-dense foods (veggies, protein, etc.) Her relationship with movement – you’ll be SHOCKED at she moves her body daily as a 94-year-old It was such a joy for me to sit down and have tea with my grandma and record this episode. The original idea to record this was mainly for fun, but I truly believe she’s going to give you some great nuggets of wisdom for your own relationship with food!
