On this week’s episode of The Bottom Line on KCLR, John Purcell spoke with Walter Bradley, Director, of Dale Carnegie Training Ireland. In 1936 a book called “How to Win Friends and Influence People” was published and quickly became a sensation being reprinted 17 times in its first year. The book was by a man called Dale Carnegie and his book is ranked by Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential books of all time.  Walter speaks to John about the history and the principles behind Dale Carnegie approach as well as the work that he does with businesses and what the Dale Carnegie Training can offer. Earlier in the week John was in attendance at the Bank Of Ireland Enterprise Town Awards that took place in Lyrath. The good news is that Kilkenny and Carlow did outstandingly well with awards for Kilkenny City, Callan, Borris, Bagnealstown and Carlow Town with the overall top prize being scooped by Kilkenny City which was named as Ireland's Enterprise Town. While there John spoke with a number of those who were involved in making Carlow & Kilkenny's fantastic performance happen.  This week we hear the latest update on #careerskilkenny from Fiona Deegan, Director of Enterprise with Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny and from John Duggan CEO of LoanITT.
