022: Trading In One Voice For Another with Jennifer Brown

What happens when you prepare your entire life for something and, unexpectedly, your dream is crushed by an irreversible injury? That's what happened to award-winning entrepreneur, author and speaker Jennifer Brown. As a young girl, Jennifer dreamed of becoming a professional opera singer. In her 20s, she moved to New York City to pursue a Master's in Voice from the Manhattan School of Music. She was on the road to stardom when her dream was suddenly interrupted by vocal cord injury. After several surgeries, it became clear Jennifer would never sing again professionally. "The writing was on the wall and I knew I had to reinvent (myself)," she said.
