Episode 022 Unitarian Universalists, finding home within, readings, readings, and more readingsThis week, we attended a Sunday service for the first Sunday of Spring at a Unitarian Universalist church.  Wendy announces her departure from the podcast after finding a place to call home (just kidding).  We explore this non-sectarian church which has its roots in Christianity but very much bills itself as a church that sees, in the Great Tradition, the Truth and Light within many faith traditions.  We explore what progressive, non-specific spiritual religion looks like.  We talk about why atheists or agnostics would even WANT to attend church with people of various faith views (or with anyone)...and we talk about why we'd want to as well.  We talk about when too many really great readings become...well, too many.  And we marvel at the wonder of nature and our own seasons of spiritual death, rebirth, and transition. For an OFFICIAL view of the Unitarian Universalist Association, visit their website at uua.org
