Libraries today are more than simply book services, which seems like an archaic concept, knowing what we know today.He believes that mass social networks for professionals will evolve to peer-based learning networks, accelerated by advances in machine and deep learning. The future of education is better by combining experience with publicly available professional development with formal education. If this doesn't come to fruition, he thinks that higher education as we know it may implode from becoming over commoditized credential engines of job training.Recapping the interview, David says, "Academia can be an entrepreneurial place if we think differently.
