023: Uncovering America's Need to Value Families

In this solo show, I'm opening up about a huge realization that I had after giving birth to my son Milo back in April of 2017. "The postpartum period REVEALS the inherent dysfunction in all matters of modern society," as the Instagram post by Rachelle Garcia-Seliga @innatetraditions so accurately captures. And more than two and a half years postpartum, I find myself constantly wondering: does America really value families?  Press play for more on how the lack of paid parental leave and the slow unraveling of the proverbial village present a disconnect in America's claim to value the family.
